A decade ago, my parents moved to Australia with the sponsorship of employment by a local real estate developer. We were exploited and forcedby the sponsor to pay them our entire life savings, but he exploited my mum's lack of awareness of Australian laws and eventually liquidated his business, voiding our PR application.
Now at 46 years of age, my mother can’t apply for permanent residency due to the arbitrary age requirements...

My parents have been given 35 days to pack everything up to leave behind our home of nearly 10 years with no fault of our own- it seems that the Australian immigration system is completely robotic and cruel. Watching them go through this hurts me, especially when there's only much that I can do.
My parents have done everything they can to fulfill the requirements but things beyond their control have led us to this point where they're being forced to leave. Leaving behind the country I moved to when I was a 12-year-old or living by myself in a country that forced my parents to leave and broke our family apart, feels like a never-ending dead end destroying what we've built keeping me up at night.
We love our community, and our life in the only country we've known and called home for the last decade, and having to start from scratch is something we cannot imagine.
Our only hope is to get the government's attention and allow us to stay back and find a permanent solution. Please send an email to the immigration minister.
Please, we need your help!- it's what we are counting on.
